2. Publication: Tracking the Independent Review - Measuring up the Multilaterals
AusAID has moved quickly to implement the 'Australian Multilateral Assessment' (AMA), a process recommended by the Government's Independent Review. This process is designed to assess multilateral institutions by ranking them against a fixed set of criteria. As part of our 'Tracking the Aid Review' project, AID/WATCH will be releasing alternative profiles of multilateral agencies that consider criteria that AusAID is not looking at, including ecological impact and footprint, genuine pro-poor focus and commitment to working with the poor, not merely on their behalf.

3. Take Action: Make Aid Transparent Campaign
AID/WATCH along with 98 organisations from all over the world is calling on governments to publish more information about the aid they give. The campaign, Make Aid Transparent, will culminate in just four weeks' time at a high level meeting on Aid Effectiveness in Korea where we will be demanding that governments redouble efforts to meet their aid transparency promises.
Increased aid transparency would give a huge boost to poverty reduction efforts around the world, and would enable citizens in rich and poor countries to hold their governments to account.
Time is running out. Add your voice to our call for greater aid transparency ahead of the meeting in Korea so we can make sure that aid money is getting to the people and places that need it the most.
