[Aidwatch] AID/WATCH wins High Court case - a win for charities' freedom of speech

 Dear AID/WATCH supporters and members

 

AID/WATCH has had a major victory today in its four-year legal battle with the Australian Tax Office, with the High Court ruling in favour of AID/WATCH.  Today's historic High Court decision on the AID/WATCH's charitable status is a significant win for Australian charities who engage in advocacy and lobbying activity. 

 

AID/WATCH was only able to take the case this far with the support of our members other organisations in the charitable sector and our lawyers.
